It has been a while since I've seen this flick, but it is my favorite George C. Scott movie. As I recall it has just about every short con discussed here and in the Scoundrel's Forum except for fast and loose (unless I blinked and missed it). Slim Pickens played a delightful mark in the money in the envelope scam who must have said, "Hot diggety damn" at least a dozen times in the few minutes he was on camera. Another nifty scam they pulled was selling a shop keeper a punchboard that only paid out.
This was the movie that gave me my signature line in Scoundrels' Forum, "You can't cheat an honest man".
If it is ever released again for home video, it is worth the effort and money to add this movie to your library.
